Hi, I’m Evelyn, the artist behind EvelynDsgn.

I‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ actually started my shop with some very simple items: bookmarks. It seemed like a good idea to come up with small, meaningful objects for readers, something that could be left inside the pages of a book and still remind the person of the story they love.

Initially, this was just a creative side thing for me. I designed bookmarks inspired by the books I loved and the characters I kept thinking about nonstop. However, the more I made, the more I understood that I really enjoyed bringing fictional worlds to life through art.

That’s when I took it up a notch and started making graphite portraits of book characters. The bookmarks that I so eagerly made became prints, character artworks, and various other reader-inspired pieces.

Currently, EvelynDsgn features a combination of both: small handcrafted things like bookmarks, and elaborate artworks stemmed from stories and fantasy worlds. Every single thing I make still somehow relates to books because that is the place where I first encountered them.

I've always been enamored with the thought that someone can look at a bookmark sitting in a loved novel or a print hanging on a wall and feel a bit more connected to a beloved story.

Thanks for being a part of my path. I deeply appreciate that I get to connect with like-minded book lovers through this ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌❤️
